Welcome to PhysCon 2024

dedicated to the memory of Hermann Haken (12.07.1927–14.08.2024).

We are pleased to announce the 11th International Conference on Physics and Control (PhysCon 2024) to be held at Kadir Has University, in the heart of the old city of Istanbul, Turkey, from September 9th to 12th, 2024.

PhysCon 2024 builds upon the foundation laid by previous conferences, which originated in 2003 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. With a focus on the intersection of Physics and Control and an emphasis on both theoretical developments and practical applications, PhysCon 2024 carries forward the tradition of fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange in the field. PhysCon 2024 is co-organized by the Network-Oriented Dynamics & Data Science (NODDS) Lab at Kadir Has University, together with Bilkent University, under the sponsorship of the International Physics and Control Society (IPАCS).

PhysCon 2024 introduces a new approach to conference papers in comparison to previous versions of PhysCon conferences. This year, we are exclusively accepting only abstracts for oral and poster presentations, allowing for the presentation of already published works. However, post-conference novel contributions will be invited for publication in the European Journal of Physics Special Topics (EPJ ST) and Cybernetics and Physics (CAP). Further details about the journals can be found in the Author Guidelines section on our website.

PhysCon 2024 has been dedicated to the memory of Hermann Haken, founder of Synergetics and inspiring pioneer of groundbreaking work on nonequilibrium phase transitions and Honorary Member of the International Physics and Control Society (IPACS).
