– Rezan Has Museum Tour:

Located within Kadir Has University, Rezan Has Museum has been hosting unique exhibitions and cultural activities since 2007. The museum is a fascinating blend of history, featuring an Ottoman-era structure dating back to the 17th century and a Byzantine cistern from the 11th century. In 2009, the museum enriched its collection by acquiring documents and objects from the Cibali Tobacco and Cigarette Factory, alongside its extensive collection of archaeological artifacts spanning nearly 9,000 years.

The guided tour will take place on the evening of Monday, September 9th, in two rounds. Participants can choose to join one of the rounds based on their schedule and preference.

– Classical Music Recital:
On the evening of the second day, Gözde Yaşar (cello) and İnci Yakar Birol (piano) will perform a special recital for PhysCon 2024 participants in the Conference Hall. The pieces which are planned to be performed are the following:

  1. Sergei Rachmaninoff –  Vocalise
    (Op.34 No.14)
  2. César Franck – Sonata for Cello and Piano
    (Allegretto ben Moderato
    Allegro
    Recitativo-Fantasia
    Allegretto Poco Mosso)

 

– Bosphorus Boat Tour / Gala Dinner:
On the evening of the third day of the conference, a boat will dock near the shores of the Golden Horn, close to Kadir Has University, to take participants on an unforgettable tour of the Bosphorus. The tour will begin within the Golden Horn, extending towards the second bridge of the Bosphorus. Guests will enjoy cocktail drinks and a Gala Dinner in the heart of the Bosphorus. The boat will return to Kadir Has University after dinner, arriving back at 23:00.
